Charles Graff Obituary

Charles (Chuck) Graff passed away unexpectedly at his home on November 24, 2010. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico to the late Elmer and Mildred Graff on June 13, 1945. As a small child he moved with his family to Colorado Springs, Colorado. He graduated from Manitou Springs High School and attended CSU. Until his recent retirement, he operated C.E.G. and Associates, a land planning consultant business. He was instrumental in planning many residential and commercial projects in Colorado Springs during over 35 years in business. Chuck was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing in the beautiful Colorado environment. He is survived by his loving partner, Gayle Felder, and his sons, Toby Graff of San Diego, California and Marc Graff of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and grandson Randy Graff of San Diego, California. Also special in his heart were Gayle's children: son, Jud Felder of San Diego, and daughter Nicole Heisser, husband, Kevin, and children, Lily and Kevin Jr. of Centennial, CO. He will certainly be missed by his beloved canine companion, Katie, as well. He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Mildred Graff, and his sister Mavis Bailey. Chuck will be missed by many. His broad sense of humor and vocal opinions made him an unforgettable character. A memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church, 1515 N. Cascade Ave., at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2010. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the memorial fund at First Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
