Memories and thoughts are always present when we hear of the passing of a friend. We were remembering getting to know you all when the girls played softball together. He was a good father, husband and friend. You and the girls are in our thoughts and prayers.

Chuck was a very valuable member of our camp crew. He was always thinking ahead and helping anyone who needed it. The great part was that he was there before they knew they needed him. Everyone gets a name badge for the ride. He mentioned after his first ride that he hadn't received his. The next year we had a leather badge made for him by one of the crew that said "Huck Chigley" just for fun. The look on his face was priceless. I gave him his real one just a few minutes later. The point is, I don't think you could rattle the man. That happened about ten years ago and we still tell the story of Huck Chigley. We will continue to go camping each summer in the Rocky Mountains and we will save a spot by the campfire for our dear friend.

So sorry to hear of Chuck's untimely passing. Our prayers are for Shirley and the girls in this time of great loss and pain. I truly enjoyed working with Chuck for many years. He was always there to help and encourage regardless of the seriousness of the cases he assisted me with. Chuck's passing will leave a big hole in all of our lives. He was a special friend and I will always remember the happy, smiling face of Facilities very own "Huggy Bear".

It has been an honor and a privilege to have known and worked with you for all these years. We had coffee just last week as we laughed and reminisced about the old days. You never think about seeing a friend for the last time, and I just want to say that I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity to have known you and to call you my friend. I send so much Love and Aloha to your family at this difficult time. I will truly miss your warm heart and sense of humor. Aloha my friend.
