Charles Long Obituary

Charles Milton Long Jr. 79 of Colorado Springs passed away at his home on February 2, 2015 after several years of declining health. Charles was born May 22, 1935 in Vandergrift, PA to Charles and Edith Long. He worked in construction and cabinetry until his retirement in December 2004.

Charles is survived by his wife of 12 1/2 years, Shirley Campbell and his former wives, Doris Swenk Long and Kay Schmidt. He is also survived by his children, Charles Long Jr., Jeff Long, Terrah Stone, Matt Long, Beth Webb and step-daughter Carol Rinehart, 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be held, Friday, February 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Village Seven Presbyterian Church, located at 4040 Nonchalant Circle, Colorado Springs.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Charles name to Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org, 2315 Bott Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80904. Arrangements entrusted to Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
