Charles Mayhew Obituary

Charles Glen Mayhew, age 94, of Colorado Springs died December 15, 2005. Born February 14, 1911 in Herkimer, Kansas to Charles Wesley and Abbie Oleta Mayhew. Married Marjorie Viola Easom on April 28, 1935. Glen pastored churches in Columbine, north of Rush Colorado, Albion Nebraska, Federal Heights, Thornton, Colorado Springs, Rocky Ford, Campo and Boulder, Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; one sister, Wilma Cook; one brother, Harold Mayhew; two sons: James (Shirley) and David (Mary Lou); six daughters: Sharon Davis (Lloyd), Thelma Hardin (Jake), Eunice Cayer (Bill), Esther Johnston (Don), Bonnie Hartson (Eddie), Mary Marchiani (Bob);  25 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and nine great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Elaine Coloroso; grandson, Robert Mayhew; daughter-in-law, Shirley Mayhew; and one sister, Marjorie Easom. Visitation Monday, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., at Swan-Law, 501 N. Cascade. Funeral Service Tuesday, 1:00 p.m., at Faith Covenant Bible Chapel, 1311 Columbine Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
