Charles Sargent Obituary

Charles Junior Sargent, "Chuck", a long time Colorado resident, died at his home in Colorado Springs on March 8, 2013, with his family by his side, at the age of 82. Chuck moved his family to Colorado in 1961. He was stationed at Ft. Carson, Colorado for most of his military career with tours in Germany, Korea and Vietnam. An Army veteran, he retired from Colorado Springs and moved to the Buena Vista area in 1985. Chuck was an avid fisherman traveling with his family throughout the country exploring the great outdoors. He was a diehard Denver Broncos fan and always enjoyed a good football game. Chuck is survived by his wife, Frances, his daughter, Yvonne Pierson, (husband, Michael), his son, Kenneth Sargent, (wife, Sylvia) and his granddaughter, Chelsey Sargent. He was preceded in death by his first wife Rita. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 16th at 2:00pm at Wynwood of Colorado Springs Assisted Living Center.
