CHARLES "CHUCK" K. STALEY
May 5, 1945 December 25, 2021
Charles Staley passed away this Christmas day in Bradenton Florida. Chuck, as known to everyone, loved exploring other places and cultures around the world, making fast friends along the way with his kindness and sense of humor. We will all miss his "Dad jokes". Chuck served 20 years in the Air Force stationed around the world and the U.S. finally settling in the Tri-Lakes area near Monument, CO with his wife of 47 years Linda and two children, Ginger and Charlie. Upon retirement he and Linda started a Christmas tree farm where several families went every year to cut their own tree. That transitioned to alpaca ranching to help keep the weeds down. Chuck loved his alpacas and Pikes Peak Alpacas won many awards for his breeding of the herd. Most recently he and Linda retired to Cortez, Florida to finally enjoy the fruits of their labor. Chuck is preceded in death by his wife Linda and succeeded by his daughter Virginia (Ginger) and son Charles II (Charlie). He will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery for his service along with his wife. He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the good fortune to know him.

Ginger and Charlie,
Thanks to your parents for giving me my first job at the Christmas tree farm. I have many fond memories from that time and even more after the alpacas came to live there. Sorry for your loss, and I will keep you both in my thoughts.

Ginger and Charlie,

My parents lived further down the road from your Mom and Dad in Colorado. They were the . Ginger, I remember you did the hair and makeup for my nieces wedding back in 2000. So sorry to hear of both your parents passing. I had met both of them when we came up from Houston to visit.
