My friend, Charlatte'. Yep. That's what I called you. No words, my friend. Your mentorship has been a treasure that keeps on giving, but your friendship was golden sunshine on any given day. You could make me laugh in the most difficult situation. I always trusted you and you always made me feel safe. You are one of the strongest people I will ever know. I will so miss your raucous, quick wit, your protective, generous heart, and your absolute genius. Of course, I will have truly failed you if I don't mention that sour cream coffee cake and how I would have half of it eaten before I got it home. It's going to be hard to imagine this old world without you, sweet Charlotte. I hope I can even modestly perpetuate your example of excellence, and make it a little more joyful by sprinkling in a little belly laughter along the way. I love you, Sister.

So surprised to read of Charlottes passing and so sorry for your loss. I have known her since we were all young nurses at Penrose and later at her time with RN's on Call. What a sweet, wonderful woman who loved her family beyond everything else.

Charlotte was a very special nurse. She lite up the room when she walked in. She gave loving care to all. Her beautiful person and smile will be missed.
