Dear Family, Is there going to be a memorial service for Charlotte? So many people loved her and would like to show their final respects. Also Is there an address where we can send cards or letters? Thank You, Mercedes

What a loss . I worked with Charlotte for 25 years at the the Health Department , she was smart, witty and she loved our clients. she saved many ,many lives with her compassionate yet tough counseling skills. What you may not know about her is that she started the Drug and Alcohol program for El Paso county back in the early 70's for Vets returning home from Vietnam addicted to Morphine. From there the program expanded into a full service Addiction Treatment program with 35 counselors and a methadone clinic. Charlotte was a good politician as well, getting funding from the State for the programs. I was proud to work along side of her for all those years. All of us who worked with her will miss her forever.
