Chester Revel Obituary

Chester A. Revel was born in Cyril, Oklahoma to parents William and Viola (Oldham) Revel. He was a long time resident of Colorado Springs, moving here in 1959. Chester was an electrician for the Department of Transportation. Chester also was in the U.S. Navy from 1943 until 1946, and fought in WWII. On April 27, 1946, Chester married loving wife Lucille F. (Newby) Revel. Chester was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and brothers Bill, Rex and Garland Revel. He is survived by his daughter Reta (Doug) Fox of Colorado Springs, CO., son Ed Revel of Colorado Springs, CO., four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, his brother J.B. Revel of Elgin, OK., sister Maxine Keenon of ElReno, OK., as well as many nephews and nieces. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Pikes Peak Hospice. A visitation will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, and services will be Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 10:00 am. Both will be held in the Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.
