Christine Smith Hawkins aka "Splendor", age 67, born August 21, 1950 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to the parents of Millie Anderson and Lawrence Smith, who preceded her in death. Chris received her wings on June 2, 2018 at 11:35 pm, after a two year battle with stage four cancer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Sept 15th, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors, 1104 S. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, CO. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family by visiting www.angelusfuneral

Cousin Christine all I can say is you'll be missed. While living with my Popo, you were there for me just as you were for your girls. I didn't visit as often as I liked or kept in touch as much as I should have but when I did see you, you always embraced me like we saw each other everyday. You were one of the strongest women I knew. You never showed what you were going through you just smiled that big beautiful smile. That's when I knew God was blessing us with more time as he prepared to welcome home one of the best. Love you Cousin

I didn't know her but I work with her daughter Yolanda so I heard many stories. Such a great woman. Plus she raised a loving daughter.
