Chris was many things to many people, a friend, a mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. Chris loved gardening at home and was a member of the Rose society at Glen Eyrie, where she volunteered her time and energy. She will be missed by her family and friends and as with all things in life, we're only now beginning to realize how much.
Surviving family members: Bruce H. McClintock, son and his spouse Tamara, their daughters Brittany Lafitte, Victoria Aki, Alexandra McClintock their son in laws Travis Laffitte and Tyler Aki and their granddaughters Harper and Remi Laffitte.
Richard P. McClintock, son and his spouse Andrea and their children Roja McClintock and Lukas McClintock and son-in-law Tobi McClintock.
Christine F. McClintock, maiden name Fiedler, was born January 9, 1934. After her expulsion from the Sudetenland, Czechoslovakia after WWII, Chris and her parents moved to Neuburg a.d. Donau, Bavaria. She attended nursing school in Munich, Bavaria, and after studies met and married Samuel Rutherford McClintock Jr. on July 15, 1957. They had two children Richard and Bruce. Christine traveled and lived throughout the U.S. before settling down in Colorado Springs in 1969.
Chris worked for many years for both Starks furniture and then later for American Furniture on Platte Avenue. She was very successful in furniture sales and interior design for nearly 45 years and in that time had the pleasure of helping countless clients and families find the right furniture. Christine was always hard-working and loved by her bosses, coworkers and customers. This was evident by her loyal customers, who would come years later just to buy furniture from Christine due to her honesty, patience and knowledge.
After a long, active, exciting and fulfilled life Chris rests in peace.
