Christopher Cloppas Obituary

Christopher Daniel Cloppas, age 25, died tragically in an automobile accident in Hancock, New York on July 5th. Chris was born at the Air Force Academy Hospital on November 28, 1979. He graduated from Kaiserslautern High School in Germany, and then received his bachelor's degree from University of Texas at San Antonio in 2002. Chris was employed by WOAI, NBC television, in San Antonio, as a photojournalist, for the past several years. Chris played soccer for many years, and was a creative and talented person, who was always fun and full of life. He was a wonderful son and big brother. His keen sense of humor and love for everyone made him many close friends. He will be sorely missed. Chris is survived by his parents, Dan and Vicki Cloppas of Monument, Colorado; and siblings: Cara and Kyle. A memorial and Celebration of Life service will be held on July 12th in San Antonio, Texas at Northern Hills United Methodist Church at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to First United Methodist Church, 420 North Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80903.
