Christopher Hunt Obituary

Christopher David Hunt was born on January 6, 1976, at K.I. Sawyer A.F.B., Michigan, to Patty and Rodney Hunt. Chris joined his brother Jeff, and was followed by brother Kevin. Chris attended school in Omaha, Honolulu, Misawa Japan, Alabama, Hot Springs, Arkansas and graduated in Las Vegas, NV.

Chris served in the U.S. Air Force as a Communications Specialist, stationed at RAF Mildenhall, England and Kirtland AFB, NM. He was later employed by SAIC and others to perform highly classified duties working for U.S. Air Force contracts for 17 years.

Chris never met an enemy and had a heart of gold. His deep love for music of all types and his outstanding abilities as a drummer were key elements that made up this wonderful man. His deep caring for friends and loved ones is evident in the trail of love he left behind.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents Mr. Mathew and Mrs. Juanita Harris, grandfather David Schlimgen, and aunt Vicki Wyatt.

Surviving him are mother Patty Hunt, father Rodney Hunt, stepmother Gail Hunt, his brothers Jeffrey and Kevin, and nephews Noah Starr and Colin Hunt. He also leaves behind his maternal grandmother Marlys Schlimgen, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones. He is also survived by his best friend Preston and his love Shosana and many others in Colorado Springs.

Christopher will never be forgotten.

His memorial service will be held in Hot Springs, AR at a later date to be announced.

I have a picture of you rocking out on the drums near my turntable so you are always there listening to records with me like we did back in the day. Thanks for turning me on to some great music. Miss you brother.

You still owe me lunch, Dude. I'll be by to collect when next we meet. Other than that, you're always here with me, talking sense.
Peace, brother... Until we meet again.

Chris was an amazing guy. He always knew exactly what to say, to make the situation okay, and make sense. I'm truly saddened, by the loss of this man. The world just got a little darker, for losing this light.
