Christopher "Chris" Paap
August 3, 1960

Born and raised in Colorado Springs, he graduated from Wasson High School before attending University of Colorado Boulder.
He continued on to graduated with his ParmD from the University of Utah. After graduating with his doctorate he devoted his career to academics and pharmaceutical industry.
On Jun 22nd, 1991 he married Nancy Broderick and they moved to Austin Texas where he was a professor of pharmacology. Their first son Alexander was born there in 1992. He then had a chance to move back to Colorado to be a professor at University of Colorado Denver and their second son Austin was born in 1996. In 1999 he left academia and worked for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
Chris was fun, sharp-witted and very caring. He loved playing golf, skiing, and shared a love of hockey with his family. His jovial manner, smile and big laugh were always a positive influence to all those around him.
Chris is survived by his wife Nancy, sons Alex and Austin, his mother Elsie Gonsholt, and 2 brothers Stewart and Jeff (Amy). He was proceeded in death by his father Dr. Jack Paap of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
His funeral was held October 21st at St. Mark Catholic Church in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
