Brother, knowing your earthly presence a blessing. The music style, energy, and loving care for your Family and friends. Coffee and conversation was always a plus. When I think of your smile a calming sense of joy fills my spirit.

Chris' passing took me by surprise as I just learned of this news a few days ago....
I would like to say that Chris is the dearest and most loyal friend to those he took under his wing and embraced. He always was protective and loyal in our friendship. I'm deeply saddened that our Lord call him all too soon for us, but I know that he was needed above. He now lives in peace and has eternal life where as the rest of us are still on earthly ground living in boot camp.
I will see him one day and we shall rejoice once again... Larry and Julie, my condolences to you both as well as his beautiful children. He will be greatly missed and always much loved!

I am so sorry to hear of Chris' passing! I taught vocal music at Harrison High School from 1984-1988, and heard about your loss through Johnnie Orr. Prayers and sadness at your loss and yet because of his faith, we will see Chris again!!

I was devastated to hear the news of Chris' passing. So many special childhood memories, from playing in the cul-de-sac in Lenexa,Ks to ski vacations in Colorado. The world lost a great, talented, man-father-brother-son-uncle-grandfather-etc. He will be greatly missed..

We really appreciated Chris' sense of humor. We will never forget being a part of a joke that he played on his mother that was aired on the TV program Pranked. May God be laughing with Chris today!

My heart aches knowing you're no longer in this world. The world, to all who loved you, is a little darker now without you. Though we were no longer together, I still loved you with all my heart and I only wish that I could've seen you one last time. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris at his daughter, my niece's graduation party. Right away I could see his great sense of humor, the same sense of humor his daughter has. He was full of energy and so kind.

This is a beautifully spot-on tribute to a person who made the most of his time on Earth by intensely loving the things he loved, being passionate and creative, and never being afraid to speak up or be heard. Heaven certainly just got much more vibrant. Sending all our love, our deepest sympathies, and our prayers for peaceful healing during this incomprehensible time.

I performed CPR on Chris at Monarch on Monday and am so sorry that he is gone. I've gotten to know who he was by watching his youtube videos. The world has lost a special man.
