Ciara Johnson Obituary

Ciara Sheily Johnson, "Kiki" was born on November 15, 1989 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated from Rampart High School in 2007 and from the University of Colorado in 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Technical Writing. Ciara lived and worked in Denver as an Entrepreneur in the Entertainment Industry and was an integral member of the Denver Music and Arts Community. Ciara's passion and vibrance was infectious to those she knew. She was an amazing singer and masterful in seeing the beauty and talent in others. She thrived in connecting people with each other so they could grow and cultivate their craft. Ciara inspired and motivated those around her with her unconditional love and acceptance of every person. She believed in living this life to fullest and seeing opportunity in every situation. Her beautiful soul and pure goodness was a light that shined bright enough to leave every life she touched wanting to be a better person, wanting to "Live Like Ciara". Ciara is preceded in death by her Grandmothers Maureen Sanchez and Arlevia Johnson, her Grandfather Levi Johnson Jr., Uncle Levi Johnson and Aunt Marjorie Jean "Peaches" Johnson.

Ciara is survived by her mother, Julie Sanchez, father, Andre Johnson, grandfather Eli Sanchez, sisters Maya West, Brittni and Rhea Johnson, brothers Jordan, Alijah, Quyncc, Harley and Javon Johnson, Aunt Nicola and Uncle Scott Sapp, Aunts Melissa and Cheryl Johnson, Uncle Steven Sanchez. Her Johnson cousins; Tyler, Le'von, Deandra, Verlonte, Andrew, Cinnamon, Mikehale, Champaine, and Megan. Her Sanchez cousins; Taylor, Chase, Cheyenne and Phoenix.

Ciara's Celebration of Life will be Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1500 South Dayton Street, Denver, Colorado, 80247. The viewing is at 9am and the service is 10am with a reception following.
