December 5, 2024

Cynthia "Cindy" Louise Stine (Barnes), a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the age of 60. Born on November 18, 1964, in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, Cindy was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Marylou Barnes.
Cindy is a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, where she built a life filled with love and dedication to her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Charlie Stine, her loving daughter, Melissa Rockhold, and son-in-law, Ryan Rockhold. Cindy was a proud Mimi to Rylie Jo Rockhold, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her brothers, Dave and Jim Barnes.
Cindy served as the Office Manager at REMAX Properties and ERA Shields in Colorado Springs, where she was admired for her dedication and positive attitude. Cindy found joy in working out at the gym and treasured moments with friends and family.
Cindy had a deep love for the Colorado Mountains and often referred to the snow as "God's fluffy white blanket," reflecting her quiet and genuine faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Cindy's name to New Life East Church in Colorado Springs. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor her memory and the love she shared with those around her. Cindy will be dearly missed and forever remembered.

Cindy, I wish I had gotten to know you better. As a sister-in-law you were one of the best. As a wife to my baby brother and mother to Melissa Jo, you were amazing, and as a Mimi to Rylie Jo you were so loving and loved. Watch over them all. Love you.
