Claire Kelley Obituary

Claire M. Kelley July 27, 1956 - August 27, 2007. Claire Kelley, resident of Colorado Springs since 1995, passed away at home August 27, 2007 after an 8 year battle with breast cancer. Born July 27, 1956 in Oneonta, New York, she was a 20 year veteran of the Air Force and worked locally as Office Manager for Tri-City Drywall for the past 11 years. Claire was an incredible upbeat person who loved sports, her dogs, her many friends and family. She is survived by her husband Jim, daughter Laura, son Jason, sisters Judy and Melissa, granddaughter Shyann, and her parents and siblings from upstate New York. She will be eternally grateful to her co-workers and friends at Tri-City Drywall and their business associates, and especially to her dear friends at Rocky Mountain Cancer Center, whose kindness and friendship helped sustain her over the years. A celebration of life will be held at Tri-City Drywall Wednesday, 12 September 4-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pikes Peak Humane Society or the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Jim, Laura and Jason:
Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm thankful for the time I was privileged to spend with Claire -- particularly during the last few years in my visits to Colorado. She was truly an inspiration. If there is anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.

Dear Kelley family and Judy and Melissa, We are very sorry for your loss. We haven't seen Claire in over thirty years. Our thoughts and love are with you during this difficult time. It was nice to hear that Claire had family around to be with at this time. We are looking for an address to keep in touch with Melissa and Judy. We haven't seen Melissa since high school. Hope to hear from you. Love Teri Hayward and Diane Schemm. P.S. our addresses: [email protected] or [email protected]
