Clarence Hull Obituary

Our beloved father and husband, "Daddy", Clarence passed away May 25, 2005 in Tucson, AZ after a brief illness. He was the son of Elmer Hull and Lulu (Knapp) Presse of Bethune, CO. Clarence is survived by his wife, Iona Hull. He is also survived by four children: Kenneth (Sandra) of Blaine, WA; James (Juana) of Colorado Springs, CO; Donna Rae Phillips Geist (Jimmy) of Colorado Springs, CO; Dixie Delaware (Danny Diekman) of Peyton, CO; and a sister, Delores (Glenn) Flower of Lamar, CO. He is also survived by three stepdaughters: Marcia Hagen, Phoenix AZ; Anita Downey, Colorado Springs; Karen Douglas-Tanquary Kansas; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He served honorably in the U.S. Army National Guard during WWII serving in the Philippine's and New Guinea. After serving his country from 1940 to 1945 he worked for the railroad in Burlington, CO. eventually becoming a mobile home sales man in Colorado Springs, CO until he retired in the summer of 1992 to manage personal rental properties. After selling all of his properties, he and Iona traveled the country and lived during the winter in Tucson, AZ and during the summer in Colorado Springs, CO. He was preceded in death by: his parents, a son, a daughter, four brothers and three sisters. There will be a memorial service at Radiant Church located 4020 Maizeland Rd. Colorado Springs, CO on Friday, June 3 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be Evergreen Cemetery.
