David Clay Sungar Former Bay Area Resident Passed away peacefully at his home in Fair Oaks, California on Nov. 7, 2013 A memorial service will be held at the Mount Vernon Memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA at 3 PM Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013. Clay was born January 22, 1952 in Berkeley, California. He was the youngest of four sons born to Bill and Virginia (Gini) Sungar, and was the devoted husband of Gayle and loving father of Alana Sungar. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two of his beloved brothers, James Brian and Steven Mark Sungar. In addition to his wife and daughter, Clay is survived by his eldest brother William Grant Sungar and family. As a licensed contractor he was involved in many residential and commercial projects throughout Northern California. His hobbies and occupations included photography and real estate sales, but his first love was construction and woodworking, endeavors he continued well into his years-long bout with cancer.
