I remember Cleo and Marie with great fondness They were very hospitable in welcoming all of us young agents into their home for Christmas parties, and orgainizing summer picnics, which were always fun. At the house Cleo would play piano and Dave Rubinoff would sing. Marie always decorated the house so beautifully and the food was always lovely. Great times.

As I approach my 50th anniversary with New York Life as an agent I am reliving many of those early memories. Since Cleo retired I have worked under 8 other managers, and none of them have measured up to Cleo and Marie's love and concern for me and my family. They were the real glue that held the G.O. together.

I will keep these memories alive and close to my heart even after I leave the Company ansd retire.

Sincerely in NYLIC,
Steve Billey

Marie, I am very sorry to hear of Cleo's passing. He was very instrumental in my early years at New York Life. Without Cleo's leadership and the hard work of Jerry Paulin and Henry Hanscom I wouldn't have been successful. Stephen Billey

Cleo was the General Manager my first 4 years at New York Life. He had such a powerful voice and even more powerful smile. He would call the office many times over the years and always ask how everyone was.
