Cleta Elizabeth (Betzen) Jasper died April 9, 2025, at the age of 87, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, after a very lengthy battle with dementia.
Cleta was born September 15, 1937, in Marienthal, Kansas, to William and Anna (Koetting) Betzen, the youngest of fourteen children. She married Herman Jasper, in 1963, and together they had four children. She is survived by an older sister, four children, and six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Catholic Charities of Central Colorado – Hunt Family Housing (providing transitional housing, support, and programming for families), Pikes Peak Citizens for Life, and the Alzheimer's Association.
