Cliff Potter Obituary

"But by God's doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness, sanctification, redemption"...and eternal life. I Corinthians 1:30 (Byron) Cliff Potter died on January 27, 2013 from complications of pulmonary fibrosis. Cliff was originally from Oklahoma. He served in the army where he also worked with The Navigators ministry. He worked in construction and later as a probation officer for the 4th Judicial District for 20 years until he retired in 2009. He was an avid lover of his family, bluegrass music, painting, art, camping, Christian apologetics, and all things Colorado. But most of all he loved Christ, whom he served well. He is survived by his wife, Kris, children, Annie and Richard, brothers, Mike and Paul, and many great friends and family. A Life Celebration will be held Saturday, Feb. 16 at 11:00 AM at Grace Bible Church, 5075 Flintridge Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Cliff to: Little Log Church, 149 High Street, Palmer Lake, CO 80133 or Questscope, PO Box 88572, Carol Stream, IL 60188-8572 www.Questscope.org

Cliff...my cousin and brother-in-the-Lord, a good man, kind and gentle soul. I'm sorry we didn't have more time with you here. I sure do miss you. Not saying goodbye, just so long... till we meet up again at the Wedding Feast.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I'm glad I was able to spend time with Cliff and the family in October wwhen I visited Colorado. Cliff had me choose one of his paintings, and I will treasure it. He was a loving, caring, talented person, and will leave a hole in the lives of the people who are close to him. He will always live in our hearts.

I will always smile when I remember Cliff. Cliff was truly one of a kind. His passing will leave a hole in our lives, but he leaves us with a legacy of love, friendship, adventure, and joy.
Our loss is heaven's gain and instead of goodbye, I say so long, for now.
