Clifford Chew Obituary

Clifford Davies Chew, age 46, a resident of the Colorado Springs area since 1964 passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at a local care center. He was highly involved with the U.S. Special Olympics and competed in bowling, swimming and skiing. He was also employed in the restaurant business. Cliff was born on February 7, 1961 in Washington, DC to Allen Frank and Irene Edna (Hans) Chew. He is survived by his mother: Irene of Colorado Springs; his sisters: Cynthia (Steve Danziger) Schramm of San Francisco and Cathlene (Kevin) Guy of Monument. Also surviving are 4 nieces, 2 nephews and numerous aunts and cousins. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Private interment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Rose Gardens. Memorials may be made to the US Special Olympics, 806 Nichols Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907

On behalf of Special Olympics Colorado Southeast, our condolences on the loss of a great athlete- Clifford Chew. We will miss Clifford but know his spirit will be present at all of our Special Olympics competitions.
