Clifford Pennington Obituary

Clifford Edwin Pennington, II, January 6, 1934 - April 6, 2006 born to Clifford and Vinita Pennington at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs. He attended Palmer High School and graduated in 1952. Cliff served in the Army from 1953 to 1956. He worked for Western Electric and retired after 30 years. After retiring he started Penn Construction. He was a longtime Free Mason and belonged to Lodge #13. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents and a younger brother, Richard Pennington. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Corinne; brother, Roger (Joan) Pennington; daughter, Debi (Lonnie) Matheny; two sons: Ed(Lynda) and Scott (Gail) Pennington; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Hunting, fishing and camping with his family are things that Cliff enjoyed. He was a wonderful husband, father, role model, coach and friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be Monday, April 10, 2006 from 3:00-6:00 p.m . at Swan Law Funeral Home. Funeral services Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 1:00 p.m., Swan Law Cascade Chapel, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO., followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery, 1005 S. Hancock Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO.
