Dear Ruby and family,
I just returned to town and heard that Dr Sherwood had passed away. Fortunately Cliff was in the next delivery room in 1973 when I had major complications after giving birth to my one and only child. His skilled hands and expertise pulled me through. After saving my life, I started going to Cliff for my gyno care. Next ski season, you and Cliff invited my family to your Blue River cabin for a couple of ski weekends, where we got to know your family including the sons my husband had and was teaching at Wasson HS. I remember Cliff saying if his kids wanted the best of something (like expensive skis), he'd pay half. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My condolences go to the Sherwood family. Dr. Sherwood delivered my daughter in January of 1987. She is a beautiful and successful young woman now, and, I would like to "thank" him for being such a wonderful doctor.

Dear Sherwood family - A very special man and an excellent doctor - he delivered my daughter, Sara in 1973. She called me a few days ago and said, "Mom, my doctor passed away." She remembers when I went to him. Ruby, I remember a night at the Y when you two were taking dance lessons in preparation for a cruise. I heard his voice and turned and said, "A woman never forgets her OB's voice". I hope you had a great cruise, Ruby. He was very caring and special and loved his family with all his heart.

July 15, 2007 Dear Ruby and Katie and all....
Dr. Sherwood delivered my daughter, Becky, in September of 1974 and I
later worked for a short time (as a temp) in his office. He was a
gentle, kind doctor with a terrific sense of humor. He bet me a beer
that Becky would be a boy. When he lost and asked me to make a decision
I said I would have a Pepsi and he actually brought one with a straw in
it to the recovery room. It is my first favorite "Becky" story. I am
sorry to hear of his passing but know that David and I always have good thoughts about him. He gave me great advice one time too. The year he was buying the pool table for the family, he told me how it was worth
every penny - then he knew where his kids were and who they were with.
I took that to heart and followed his advice. It was excellent. You
will be in my prayers. Kitty Brilliant (Butte, MT)
