Cody Pat Thompson, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, and mentor, passed away on October 28, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born on February 16, 1953, in Joplin, Missouri, Cody later moved to Widefield, Colorado, in December 1958.

Cody's journey in the world of real estate began when he purchased Century 21 Harlan Realty on April 1, 1982, which later became Century 21 Academy Realty, Inc. His leadership led to multiple regional and national Century 21 awards, making his office the number one in the five-state region. Cody consistently ranked in the top 2% of the 6,500 offices nationally, showcasing his remarkable achievements.

In April of 1990, he married Julie (Cox), and together they welcomed two sons, Nicholas and Johnathan, into their lives.

Outside his real estate career, Cody was actively involved in his community, holding various leadership roles. He was passionate about the outdoors, enjoying hunting, fishing, and boating on Table Rock Lake in Missouri.

Cody is survived by his loving family, including his brother, Kenneth (Mike) Thompson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends whose lives he touched.

Visitation for Cody will be held at Memorial Gardens, 3825 Airport Drive, Colorado Springs from 4 - 8 p.m. on November 17, 2023. Services will be held at Memorial Gardens at noon on November 18, 2023, followed by a Celebration of Life. Please visit the Memorial Gardens website for Celebration of Life information.
