Colleen Hall-Horner Obituary

Born in Wichita, Kansas. This fantastic lady will remain in the hearts of her survived, brother: Charles Horner of North Carolina; children: Sharon Susana Jackson, Jubal Parrish Speers, Virgil Patrick Speers, Camilla Elizabeth Hall, Roger Dale Hall Jr., Christina Antoinette Rose Hall; and 10 grandchildren. Her children would like to commend their mother for always being a positive influence and supporter in their lives. She never passed judgments and never held back one ounce of her love. We also want to thank her for all her efforts to join forces with her children to overcome adversities in all of our lives to create an outstanding future together. Thank you, Mom, for all the wonderful memories that will never be forgotten. It takes an angel to love like she did. Funeral Services are planned for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Online Condolences: ShrineOfRemembrance.com

YOU are my inspiration! Not a day passes that I am saddened to know I cannot touch your soft skin or hear your beautiful laughter. But, with everyday that does pass I feel incredibly blessed to have lived with so much love from you and all of your support is what made me who I am today and for that among many other things this is why I thank you. I am so grateful to have a fraction of the incredible qualities that you possessed. I miss you with all of my heart everyday and will always treasure every moment with you. It melted my heart and set me at ease knowing that you heard me as tears streamed down your face when I told you it was time to see your son and not to hold on for us any longer as we would see you real soon too. I see the signs that you are still with me and watching over me. Please tell Virgil hello for me and I Love you BOTH so very much! -Cami

Dear mother,
Thank you for being such an inspiration in so many people's lives. You have inspired each one of us children to be better people. I will always remember the Elephant Bar where we would go there just for the Creme Brulee, and our trips to Nashville, and the songs you wrote for me. The banana bread you would make for our family would always have some unique quality, and we will truly miss you SO Much! My children all love you very much and we know you are watching over each one of us, just as Virgil has. I am blessed to have you as my mother, I will always love you and I will never forget you.
