Colleen Kerls, 90, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on June, 07, 2022 after a brief illness. Colleen was born at her home, in 1931, to George and Nellie Eberley. She had one brother, Roy.

Colleen graduated from Denver West High School and married her sweetheart, Roy T. Kerls, on July 9th, 1951. During their 44 years of marriage, Colleen worked briefly in California, as a dispatcher for the L.A. Sheriff's Department, and then, for 19 years, she worked in the accounting department for JC Penny's.

Colleen and Roy raised 5 children - Greg (Julie), Jeff (Ann), Randy (Brenda), Doug (Debbie), & Cindy (Lee). Along with her children, she is survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Colleen lived her faith, loved her family, and enjoyed traveling and gambling with friends.

The service will be June 22, at 2pm and will be held at Memorial Gardens Chapel, in Colorado Springs.

I mourn the passage of a great lady that I knew for about 50 years as her son, Jeff and I were buddy's growing up. May she rest in peace and enjoy eternity with Roy.
