Connie Snyder Obituary

Connie Jean Snyder, age 69, passed away at home on September 11, 2015.  She was born on December 23, 1945 in Colorado Springs, CO to Lloyd Clay and Lucille (Osborn) Clay, who preceded her in death.

She graduated from Palmer High School and enjoyed attending the Class of '64 reunions.  Connie lived in Colorado her entire life and held several jobs, including working as a cashier at Big Lots for 19 years – a great fit for her friendly, chatty personality.  She was also a VISTA volunteer with the Pikes Peak CARE Coalition and regularly volunteered at Penrose Elementary during the time that one of her beloved grandsons, Timothy, attended.

Connie is survived by her husband, Norman Snyder; her brother, Earl Clay; her son, Earl W. Masters; her step-children, Rachel Harrelson, Sonya Snyder, Cathy Badell, and Mark Snyder; four granddaughters and four grandsons.

Services, 2:00PM on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Ave., Colorado Springs, COlorado 80909.

Since Connie loved spending time at the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center in Divide, CO, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, please donate in Connie's name to www.wolfeducation.org
