Constance Louise "Connie Lou" Shacklette Wood was born August 18th,1936, to Elmer & Opal Millikan Shacklette in Strang, Oklahoma. Connie loved to swim, garden, cook for her family, teach piano lessons, read her Bible, and share the gospel with others. She was also an accomplished accordion player. She enjoyed acting at the Constantine Theatre in Pawhuska and served on the theater board.
Connie had a great love for Colorado & vacationed there many times with her family to visit her parents. While there, she loved to go visit her Cousin Pearle's cabin behind Pike's Peak.

Wonderful person who cared for me as a child before her own children were born. I know she is greatly missed by all who remain!

Connie´s husband Cecil worked with my father in the Field Solicitors office at the Osage Agency. One day when I was recovering from an illness and my mother was unavailable she took me in to their apartment. She was a very caring and gracious lady who made a difference in people´s lives.
