Cynthia Jeanne Broin (née Greer), aged 71, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on March 8, 2025 at Memorial Hospital Central. She was born on November 26, 1953 in Concord, Massachusetts to Marjorie Harwood and James Greer. Cindy graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School in 1971 and went on to earn a Bachelor's in Psychology at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, where she met her husband Martin.The two married on March 23, 1975 just before she graduated. Cindy and Martin started a family and lived in many places such as Korea, Indiana, Kentucky, and Texas before settling in Colorado Springs. Upon moving to Colorado, she pursued a Master's in Special Education, graduating from University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2003. As her children reached school age, Cindy became a special education teacher and taught at many schools in Colorado Springs including Rudy Elementary, Rocky Mountain Classical Academy, and Sand Creek High School, from which she retired. She was also a dedicated parishioner of St. Michael's Episcopal Church for over 20 years. Cindy loved music, gardening, and volunteering in her community during retirement. She is survived by her children Nathan, Jesse (Joie), and Cameryn (Nizhoni), brother James (MJ), sister Julie (Jim), and brother David (Rex).
