CYNTHIA "CINDY" HOUGHAN
October 7, 1948 January 13, 2021
Cindy Houghan, 72, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on January 13, 2021. She was born on October 7, 1948, to the late Dr. Charles and Betty Houghan of Fort Morgan, Colorado. She graduated from Fort Morgan High School with the Class of 1966. She was a teacher who specialized in working with emotionally and behaviorally disturbed students. Cindy was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Mock, and is survived by two nephews, Richard "Rick" Lineweaver (Elena), and Douglas "Doug" Mock (Kristin), and a great-niece, and great-nephew all of Colorado Springs. Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 1pm at Riverside Cemetery in Fort Morgan. In honor of Cindy's lifelong love of dogs, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region."

I will miss Cindy so much.....I was her "dog nanny" whenever she would go out of town for the past 15 years. We became dear friends as well. Her passing came unexpectedly, and so I never got to say goodbye. I feel she knows how much she meant to me. She and her dogs were a blessing to me.❤
