Cynthia Minick Obituary

Cynthia Minick, 50, of Colorado Springs, passed away on November 11, 2010. Cindy was born in Richmond, Missouri and was the youngest child of Jack Campbell and Jeanette Simpson. She graduated from Harrison High School in Colorado Springs. Cindy was a hardworking homemaker who raised her three children with much dedication. She was a guiding light and friend to all. She never met a person she couldn't have a conversation with. Cindy went out of her way to ensure people were taken care of and always had helpful advice. Cindy is survived by her mother, Jeanette; children, Sadat Minick, Lavelle Holloway and Destiny Minick; granddaughter, Serenity Minick and brothers, Eric, Curtis and Scott Campbell. Preceded in death by her father, Jack and daughter, Sequetha Minick. “You are our sunshine, our only sunshine. You made us happy when skies were grey. You'll never know dear how much we loved you, now that our sunshine has gone away.� Visitation, 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Evergreen Cemetery at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.

Dear relatives of Cindy: I was very sorry to hear about cindy. I did not get the news in time to attend the services. I am very sorry for Cindy's loss she has been a friend to me for a lifetime now and it is a great loss to all of us.

I am truly sorry for your loss. May you cherish the warm memories! I did not know Cynthia personally, but work with Sherri Harris in Omaha, NE. I'm sorry for your loss. Cindy was all about family. She was always there when I needed her. Now she's not in pain, she up in heaven with uncle jack and grandma shorty. To Cindy's children: your mom is awesome. I'm a better person because I knew Cindy . I love you aunt nette, I'm sorry.
