D.H. Harris Obituary

D. H. Harris was born November 16, 1935 in Ferris, Texas. As a young adult he met his wife, Minnie P. Harris, and they married June 8, 1954. USAF 1954-1976, 22 years of Honorible Service

Celebrating the life of D. H. with his wife Minnie, are their loving children Delmer La Rue Harris (Victoria) of Washington state, Karen Joy Evans (Michael) of Texas and Keith Darren Harris

(Magdalen) of Wyoming; nine grandchildren Tahlia, Tawny, Trenton, Nathaniel, Rachel, Micah,, Marina, Melina and McKenzie and three great-grandchildren Nathaniel Jr., Christian, and Anttone.

D. H. is survived by his sister Vera Nell of Texas (Calvin) and three brothers Robert Lee, O. D., and Vernon. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Willie Floyd.

D. H. loved his family, dedicating his life to them. He was full of life and laughter and will be missed tremendously. He was an active member of the United States Bowling Congress and participated in numerous leagues.

Service will be held at First Southern Baptist Church at 1409 Palmer Park Blvd in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00am.

Minnie, My dear, sweet friend words cannot express my deep sympathy for your loss. I don't see you often but you are always in my thoughts..all of the memories at Memorial.
