Dale you were given a bad cancer diagnosis, you kept fighting, responded to chemo, survived a dangerous surgery, and made it back home to convalesce. You were so tough, strong, and your attitude was remarkable.
We all hoped you were out of the woods, and were surprised and grief stricken when you passed suddenly. Growing up, I was your older brother, but you were only 18 months younger than me, so when our family moved across the country, we changed schools many times, but we always had each other. as children, we played together for hours, sometimes fought (like young brothers do), and occasionally got into trouble together. As adults we were very different people in many ways. However, we loved, respected, and supported each other. You were always so strong, the tough guy with the big heart. You were a no nonsense person, very practical, and yet you also demonstrated kindness when it was needed. were a great husband and father and grandfather, and Linda and your kids and grandkids are going to miss you dearly, as will the rest of us.
