Patsy, Dale was a thoughtful and involved board member who I had the pleasure of serving with on the board of the Multiple Sclerosis Alliance of Southern Colorado board for a number of years. He spread good feelings through his warm smile and kind nature.

I worked with Dale in the utilities on many projects in the power plants. He was very dedicated and helped solve many difficult situations. Good memories.

Dale was my environmental engineering mentor when I started with utilities in 1993. He was supportive and encouraging, playful and fun. He was a man of integrity in his work and in his relationships. He genuinely cared about others and was quick to bring a smile to our faces.
Though the way Dale conducted his life he was a mentor to those of us fortunate enough to know him teaching us the importance of: being a master at our craft, championing others and their causes, helping people navigate challenges, and being a great sounding board.
Dale showed his appreciation for the office ladies at Valentines giving each of us a rose, and never forgot a birthday. He called me every year even long after we stopped working together and I moved away - always making me feel special and remembered.
I am grateful to have had Dale in my life and in the lives of so many. He leaves us with many happy memories and lessons.
Of course none of this would have been possible without the support of his loving and devoted wife Patsy. And his life was so enriched with the joy he felt from his amazing daughter and her beautiful family.
My love goes out especially to Patsy, Susan and her family during this time of grief and transition.

Patsy and family, I new Dale to be a generous and giving person whom I had the pleasure of working with for most of my career. He was caring and I considered him a mentor and friend. He always had time for giving back as is evident in his continued participation with the local professional engineering groups, volunteering for math counts and bridge building competitions for youth in the community and his willingness to mentor young engineering professionals.

It was a privilege to have worked with him over the years and I have fond memories of working with him providing environmental response in to the wee hours on several occasions. He was a calming and gentle influence in an otherwise chaotic line of work. I will always treasure the memory of Dale and his friendship.

Thank you Patsy for your support and care of Dale over the years and helping Dale with mobility later in his career. You provide an incredible example of unconditional love and partnership.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Patsy, Susan and the Watts family.

We will miss Dale having met him and his family in a couples Bible study with Jim & Morena Downing in 1988. We're glad he is home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! We look forward to being together with him one day!

Dale was a kind and thoughtful person, with such a pleasant demeanor. He has been a wonderful HOA President for Pinon Glen, and I've enjoyed knowing and working with him. He is already greatly missed. My sincerest condolences to Patsy and family.

I got to know Dale many years ago through the Colorado Springs police department. I'm a retired police officer. Though I haven't seen Dale for many years I still considered him a friend. I remember Dale as a very kind person who loved to laugh. I would see dale from time to time down town and when we talked we would laugh and laugh. He was a very intelligent man with a big heart. I remember talking about cars, Nash Ramblers, and laughed about how he probably didn't fit in one because of his size. Dale was truly one in a million. He will be missed. I could go on and on about Dale and our time together. He was a very good man. My condolences to the family. May God bless you with his peace at this time.

Dale was a dear friend and fellow professional who just was a all around great person. I enjoyed all sorts of discussions, technical and non technical, with him. He was a great sounding board and excellent listener. We pray to Almighty to grant Dales' soul an eternal peace and strength to his family.

I worked with Dale on several air quality committees over 20 years here in COS. Dale was a great mind, clever in his comments, and kind-hearted. Our community will miss his presence. Go in peace.
