Dan Graves Obituary

Dan Graves Jr. 52, Retired U.S. Army Veteran and retired U.S. Postal Clerk went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2015 at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born on April 21, 1963 in Montgomery, Alabama to the proud parents of Dan and Mae Hazel (Duncan) Graves Sr. Both parents preceded him in death along with his brother Kerry Graves.

Dan was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Hudson April 19, 1986 in Montgomery, Alabama.

Dan was a member of the Masonic Lodge Pikes Peak #5 and Colorado Jurisdiction. Dan served in the United States Army for 8 years attaining the rank of E-4.. He was awarded the following medals: Army Achievement Medal w/5 Oak Leaf Cluster, the Army of Occupation Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Service Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon, The Expert Badge Rifle M16 Medal and many others.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving wife of 29 years Mary Graves, daughters; Donna Smith, Latosha Shanell Graves and Ashley Nicole Graves, brothers; Tyrone Graves, Leon Smith, Leroy Smith, Sister Deanita Fatih Harris, three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 1:00 to 4 pm at Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors, 1104 South Circle Drive.. A Masonic Service will follow at 5:00 pm

Funeral Service will be held Monday July 13, at 10:00 am at Angelus Chapel Funeral Directors.

Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
