I was absolutely shocked to find out that "Diamond Dan" had passed away. We had such a special relationship at MetLife, and I just loved him immediately. My heartfelt sympathies to you and the children, Linda. I still tell the funny stories we shared.

Dan was my best friend from the instant we met. I will miss him daily and will forever remember all the times we spent together and on the phone chatting. I never heard him complain about anything except when he was on the road and not able to be with his loving wife Linda. Most husbands complain sometime about thier marrage, but Dan never said anything but good loving words to or about his. Linda always made it easy for him to be in love with her! I wish her comfort in just remembering how he could make you laugh at bad situations. He was a true gentleman, a true friend and always a truthful person. May we all share in his memory the joy of being friends and family forever.

My heart goes out to all of you. My children and I have walked where you walk now, and I can tell you the loss of one so young and so loved can be overwhelming and tremendously sad. I remember Danny as the cutest kid I knew, so funny and free spirited - full of energy. He must have been called to something we can only dream of. Your cousin, Wendy

Linda and family, there are no words to express our sympathy over the loss of one so loving, fun, and just plain wonderful. He was a very special nephew to us.
