Daniel Clark Obituary

Daniel Christopher Clark, "Danny", Thirty year old partner with D & D construction, and resident of Colorado Springs Colorado, died August 16, 2016 in his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Visitation will be held August 27, 2016 at 11:30 AM followed by a memorial service at 12:30 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 150 Pine Ave., Colorado Springs, CO, with Bishop Todd Hawker officiating. Arrangements are by Evergreen Funeral Home.

Daniel Christopher Clark, "Danny", was born on September 16, 1985, in Westerville, Ohio, to Daniel Steven and Jennifer Lynn Underwood Clark, "Jenny". He graduated from New Albany High School in New Albany, Ohio. In his grade school to middle school years, Danny was involved in wrestling, even being on the high school varsity team, at a time when he was only in the eighth grade. He was also on a traveling football team, where, even though he was small build, he wanted to be the best and would go up against all of the corn fed Midwestern boys who came to fear his skills. In New Albany, Ohio, Danny worked in the family sheetmetal business, Do-All Sheetmetal, where he programmed and ran the 5000 watt laser cutting machine. Because of his skill in sheetmetal work, his urn is constructed out of stainless steel, fabricated at the family business, now called Custom Metal Products, and is designed in keeping with Danny's design preferences. He began his career and construction with his father and brothers, Joshua and Samuel in Ohio when they built their own family home. After moving to Colorado, Mr. Clark continued to hone his construction skills with his father in their jointly owned D & D Construction business. He became particularly skilled in tile laying, finish carpentry and welding. For fun, Danny enjoy the camping and fishing and going to the zoo or Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza with the light of his life, his daughter, Adena. Surprisingly too many, Danny was also an excellent chef, going to great lengths to make food that was just prepared to his perfection, like the eggs Benedict he made for his dad about a month before his death.

Mr. Clark was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was baptized by his father.

He is survived by his parents, brothers Joshua James Clark and his wife, Lyndsey, of Aurora, Colorado, and Samuel Quinton Clark, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, his daughter Adena Rae, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, his grandparents Samuel and Carolyn Clark of New Albany, Ohio, Anne Evans of New Albany, Ohio, Robert and Jean Underwood, of Little Rock, Arkansas, Johnna Mahlke of Wooster, Ohio, and great grandmother, Mary Doty of New Albany, Ohio, and friends. He was preceded in death by his step-grandfather, George Evans of New Albany, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Adena Rae Clark Education fund at any US Bank. Please retrieve the account number from a family member before you make your donation. The family will be at 15 Newport Circle, Colorado Springs, CO.

Danny was such an amazing father, brother and friend. He always had so much ambition and worked harder than most people I know. His passion for His job and the love he had for Adena and the rest of his family was so admirable. He will be missed and always remembered. God bless you all!

I only remember Danny, as the the little one in which my daughter, Heather, played with as they were young ones. His mother, Jenny, was my daughters babysitter. We were great friends and she did so much for me out of high school. We lost touch after I moved from Westerville but there were so many memories that I will never forget, as Danny will never be forgotten as well. BUT, how could anyone forget what a fine young man Danny Clark was and became, he is and always will be something parents can be proud of. He will always be missed by his family but NEVER forgotten. God Bless the Clark family. Love to you and your family.

Danny was always a hardworking, tough as nails man just as his father is. He was never quick to give up on anything in life....growing up closely with the Clark family and working side by side with them I got to see every side of Danny there was. So as tough as he was he was just as soft if the occasion called for it. He would be the first to knock you down a peg or two if you were disrespectful or acting out but at the same time he would teach you why. Danny always lent a helping hand and had a heart of gold,a personality and smile that when he was around it was always a good time. You will be greatly missed brother and always remembered til we meet again one day.
