Daniel Cormier Obituary

Daniel "Danny" Cormier, 68, of Greeley, Colorado, died on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at the Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado Inpatient Unit in Greeley. He was born on September 4, 1937 in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia, Canada to Alex and Hattie Louise Cormier. Danny lived in Colorado Springs where his children attended high school. He was featured as the "Fiddler on the Roof" in a local production while in Colorado Springs. Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Dr. Michelle & Robin Paczosa of Greeley; two sons and their wives, Chip and Betty Cormier of Castro Valley, California and Scott and Kim Cormier of Greeley; five grandchildren: Gavin, Josie, Taylor, Noah and Hunter all of Greeley; two sisters: Mary Korolyk of Welland, Ontario, Canada and Simone Bowden of Cheticamp, Nova Scotia, Canada; a brother, Gordon Cormier of Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada; a half brother, Maurice Burns of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Memorial Srvice to celebrate Dan¹s life will be held at 12:00 noon on July 29, 2006 in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia, Canada.
