Daniel Madrone Parsons was murdered on August 26, 2025, at the age of 48 in Monument Valley Park, Colorado Springs, CO. Born in April of 1977, Daniel was known for his sensitive, thoughtful, and articulate nature. He expressed his creativity through work as a tattooist and had various jobs including commercial truck driving.
Throughout his life, Daniel was an avid fisherman, a passionate reader, and enjoyed playing cribbage. His hobbies also included tattooing, building and shooting guns.
He regularly attended A.A./NA. meetings and the First United Methodist Church.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Mary L-Wilcox, and sisters, HeatherAnna Rose Parsons and Camomile Ruth Parsons. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Fredrick Parsons.
His mother and his sister will hold a remembrance for Daniel will on Sunday, 10/26/25, from 8 to 11 AM in the Fellowship Hall at the First United Methodist Church, 9433 Vista DeL Pico Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO. All who knew him are invited to come share stories of his life.
In lieu of traditional contributions, the family requests that friends and loved ones look for opportunities to assist the homeless and mentally disabled, offering help where they see need.
