Daniel Driscoll Scandura of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on July 10, 2023 at the age of 43. Dan was born in Lake Success, NY on February 12, 1980. He graduated from Dougherty High School.
Dan is survived by his immediate family: mom Debbie Driscoll, dad John Scandura, stepmom Judy Scandura, brother Stephen Scandura, nephew Charlie Scandura and many, many cousins, aunts, and uncles who will miss him very much. Dan will also be missed by his countless friends and coworkers. Dan worked hard as a HVAC technician for School District 11 in Colorado Springs.
If you ever met Dan, then you know that he was one of the funniest people ever and brought joy and laughter into so many peoples' lives.
A wake will be held Friday, July 21, 2023 from 4pm-9pm at Cappadona Funeral
Home, 1020 Fillmore Street, Colorado Springs. Funeral services will be at 10am Saturday July 22nd, at Mount Saint Francis church, 7740 Deer Hill Grove, Colorado Springs, followed by a buffet reception at 12:30 at Patty Jewett Golf Course, 900 Espinola, Colorado Springs. Please join us for one or all of the above.
Dan was a true lover of animals, therefore, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, in Dan's name, 610 Abbott Lane, Colorado Springs 80905.

Our heart is broken. Dan was the most intelligent, competent HVAC technician I have ever met and an amazing person to be around. I loved making his cats their uniforms. See you again, Dan. I'm sorry we weren't there more.

John and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of Dan´s passing. I enjoyed getting to know and work with him at D11. May all of the great memories keep keep him close and in your hearts forever. Celebrate his life!

Daniel,
I miss you already and I´ve been looking for you. There were times that I thought I saw you driving by in your HVAC truck. Recently, I mistook a guy for you as I drove past him while he was waiting for a bus. Always looking for you because I missed you and I wanted you to know that you meant so much to me and your family. I love you. I´ll be looking for you again.
