As a kid, Uncle Dan would let me help feed the horses, he would let me steer my grandfathers pickup truck, and he always made me laugh. These are some of the times with my Uncle Dan that I will never forget. I am very proud to have had him as an uncle and I will miss him dearly. Sharon, our thoughts go out to you and the girls, you are in our prayers.

My daughter, MaKayla, rides the bus and attends school with Brittain. We were both sad to hear of her father's passing. MaKayla wants Brittain to know that she is there for her anytime she wants to talk as MaKayla knows what she is going through as she lost her father in February of this year. Just remember all of the good and happy times. And know that others are thinking of you!

Daniel Schnell was and always will be a caring and loving father. He was always there when you needed him. when you needed a hug, a high five or even a "yeah buddy". he was a funny and intelligent person, next to his brother and father.
When he laughted, you laughed. when he cried your heart broke just because you didn't want to see him in the state. He always wanted to have a fun and make sure you did too.
His life was a celebration so we need to honor that.I like to think he is riding Ricki Post (his horse) right next to grandpa.
I'm asking you not to say "I wish we had more time." We will have time again. Right now it is his time for peace and rest. I'm also asking all of you not to be sad but to rejoice in the fact that he is at peace and with his father and he isn't suffering anymore.
I want to thatnk everyone for their support and prayers.
      I LOVE YOU DAD!

Dan was the best little brother one could ever wish to have. He was always "tagging" along with me when we were young and I just wish we could even have spent more time together than we did.
In the end we need not be sad in his passing but express happiness in that we had the opportunity to share our lives with him.
