Dearest Dannie, today is your birthday and I'm remembering the good times we had and your wonderful laughter. I'm still amazed that you remembered the words to some Polish songs that we had long forgotten. I miss you, Dannie.

Daniela and I were good friends in high school. I ran in to her a couple years ago when I was in Colorado for work. It was like old times. She was just as warm and friendly as ever. I will always remember her that way. My deepest condolences to Michelle, Corna, Verena-the whole Lukaszewicz family.

Daniela, Cathy and Rita formed the neighborhood team of big sisters in the 60's. Michelle, Cornelia and I comprised the Little Sister Club. What a great childhood we had!

I remember Daniela as my mentor in high school. I wanted to be like her especially when she became the first female police officer I knew. I know she was cared for a great deal by many and loved small animals. I admired her sisters' love and caring for her in her later years. Peace Daniela you are in God's hands.
