Dearest Dannie, today is your birthday and I'm remembering the good times we had and your wonderful laughter. I'm still amazed that you remembered the words to some Polish songs that we had long forgotten. I miss you, Dannie.
Love, your sister Verena

Daniela and I were good friends in high school. I ran in to her a couple years ago when I was in Colorado for work. It was like old times. She was just as warm and friendly as ever. I will always remember her that way. My deepest condolences to Michelle, Corna, Verena-the whole Lukaszewicz family.

Dear Dannie,
Living so far away from you, I didn't see you often enough. But we did speak on the phone quite a bit. What impressed me the most about you is your strong faith, no matter what circumstances you found yourself in. Now you are finally free. I love you, and I will miss you. Your sister Verena.

I remember Daniela as my mentor in high school. I wanted to be like her especially when she became the first female police officer I knew. I know she was cared for a great deal by many and loved small animals. I admired her sisters' love and caring for her in her later years. Peace Daniela you are in God's hands.

We were blessed to have had Danny as a friend and neighbor many years ago! We saw in her, the gift of unconditional love for God’s little neighborhood critters! We will always cherish that special memory!
