Darlene Lippert Obituary

Darlene Madge Manning Lippert passed away from heart failure on November 26, 2005. She was born on January 29, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Darlene married William (Bill) L. Lippert II on February 16, 1946 in Ely, Nevada and started raising their family in Salt Lake City. They lived in Denver and Grand Junction before moving with their three children to Colorado Springs in 1962. A devoted homemaker, Darlene also worked outside the home as a secretary and bookkeeper. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Their grand Thanksgiving dinners will always be remembered by all! She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Darlene is survived by her daughter, LaRae Rollyson of Las Vegas, NV; sons: Dr. William (Lary) Lippert III, and Todd Lippert of Colorado Springs; her grandchildren: Michael, Benjamin, Alexander and Millicent; and a great-grandson, Liam. Darlene has donated her remains for medical studies to the University of Colorado Medical School. A celebration of her life will be held in May.

We were so sorry to hear of Darlene's passing. We will miss her and hope you will cherish your memories. I've known Darlene through a couple of beauty shops over a 30 year span.
