Darlene (Deming) Post was born on May 6, 1945 in Lakewood, OH. While attending Phoenix College she met the young man who would become her husband for 57 years. After Dave retired from the Air Force, they settled in Colorado Springs where Darlene worked for the Navigators for 23 years. They became avid campers and took their home on wheels all around the country multiple times a year. Darlene wished to be remembered as faithful, dependable, and honest. That was evident at her work and in all areas of her life. Among her many talents, Darlene was an accomplished artist. Her humility prevented her from letting people know about her art until they got to know her better.
"Service of Witness to the Resurrection and Celebration of Life" for Darlene Post will be held Friday, May 19th, at 10:30 a.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2845 Parliament Drive. In lien of flowers donations may be given to Covenant Presbyterian Church, designated for "Darlene Post Memorial Fund."
