Darryl Hemphill Obituary
Darryl is survived by his wife Annie Slafter of Ridgway, CO; his father J.R. Hemphill of Colorado Springs, CO; his mother Patricia "Pat" (Rich) Willis of Ouray, CO; his son Brock Hemphill of Tigard, OR; his step-son Conner Slafter of Ridgway, CO; his daughter Rachel Hemphill of Olathe, KS; his brother Michael J. (Becky) Hemphill of Colorado Springs, CO; his sister Cynthia A. (Roger) Humphreys of Colorado Springs, CO.
Darryl is preceded in death by his grandmother Doris (Madden) Hemphill, his grandfather Albert Hemphill, his grandfather Paul Cordova, his uncle Verlin Hemphill, and his cousin Jeff Hemphill.
There will be Memorial Service for Darryl Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Vanguard Church in Colorado Springs at 10:00 a.m. The Vanguard Church is located at 3950 Academy Blvd. North, Colorado Springs, CO 80917. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club in Colorado Springs at 805 Praderia Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80904. Crippin Funeral Home in Montrose, CO is assisting the family.
Darryl, you are loved and forever missed.

Darryl, I am so very sad and shocked with your passing . You had such a strong spirit, a love for life and your friends and family. I have so many great and sometimes crazy memories of you . In fact I still have your BB gun or was it Michael's and you gave it to me ? We saw each other a few years ago in Manitou and had a great time catching up , I just wish I would have known that would be the last time we would say goodbye . I would have hugged you much harder my friend . Anyone who knew you knows you are looking down and smiling and looking out for all of us as there is another angel in heaven .
