My heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Sir David. We met several times, although knew others better ,Bernard Braine, Paul Channon, David Atkinson , Harvey Procter and others during my time as divisional chairman of south-east Essex and then Billericay 1964-1968. But close contact with all and followed Sir David's career in Parliament with interest. A good family man and MP, sadly missed
