November 9, 1933 - June 16, 2018
David Betha Jr. ended his journey through life on Saturday, June 16, 2018, naturally, after a long illness. Born in Sandersville, Georgia on November 9, 1933 to the union of David Betha and his wife Cleo Hubert, he was 84.
Upon graduating high school, he served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force. Followed with 24 years as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
When he wasn't traversing the country in his RV, David enjoyed jogging, painting and repairing trucks or autos. He was a member of St. John Baptist church for 43 years, where he served as a deacon. He is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara, and is survived by his brother, Herman, and sisters, Whanetta, Gloria, and Toni. He will be missed by his children, Damon and Weyland, of Colorado Springs, Kelly of Ft. Worth Texas, and Barry and Tracy of San Diego, California, along with six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Angelus Chapel, located at 1104 S. Circle Dr. Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Funeral Service on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Angelus Chapel, 1104 S. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910.
